As a Senior Control System Engineering with Automation & Controls Engineering (ACE), you will be responsible for mentoring Junior Control System Engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to regulate and optimize industrial processes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that control systems meet the specifications and requirements of the client or organization being supported.
How you'll make an impact:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
- Provide control system design, architecture, estimates and development of modern automation control systems
- Interact with customers to resolve issues and identify additional opportunities. Champion alternative solutions that make economic sense and reduce risk for customers and engineer
- Provide technical support, define system scope, manage deliverables, and develop a team environment in project execution
- Communicate technical content to customers, verbally, in writing, and through graphical presentation with a passion to help others learn
Skills you'll need:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in control systems, instrument design and/or maintenance (including final control elements) as applied in the process industry
- A supportive and enriching attitude to teammates and the business for growth, along with personifying our "Winning Together" Culture.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects up to 35 pounds
- Work involves frequent periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning, reaching and bending at the waist
Here's what will set you apart:
- BS degree in engineering (ME or EE)
- Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, TDC 3000/2000, HC900, ControlEdge, ENRAF and FUSION Products
- Equivalent experience with other control systems such as: Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell ControlLogix PLC's, Siemens PCS7, etc
