Key Responsibilities1. Client Care Coordination & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs) in compliance with DDS regulations.
- Ensure all services meet DC Department on Disability Services (DDS) standards and policies.
- Conduct routine client visits, assessments, and progress monitoring.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation.
2. Leadership, Innovation & Ownership
- Demonstrate an ownership mindset in both clinical and operational responsibilities.
- Bring creative ideas and innovative solutions to improve service delivery and agency processes.
- Actively participate in agency planning, development, and decision-making.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
3. Agency Growth & Client Expansion
- Contribute to growing the agency’s client base through:
- Building relationships with Support Coordinators, Case Managers, hospitals, and community partners.
- Identifying opportunities for referrals and service expansion.
- Utilize available resources to increase census and service capacity.
- Represent Ace Support Inc. in community outreach and networking initiatives.
4. Quality Assurance & Program Development
- Participate in DDS audits, internal reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Identify service gaps and implement innovative program improvements.
- Ensure high standards of care and positive client outcomes.
5. Staff Supervision & Development
- Train, supervise, and support DSPs and other staff.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Ensure staff adherence to care plans, policies, and standards.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Human Services
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Special Education
- Or related field (Required)
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Experience with DDS/DC or DDA programs (Preferred)
- Leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)
