We are seeking a reliable and versatile maintenance technician to join our client's team in the Orange County. In this role you will be responsible for the general upkeep preventative maintenance, and repair of our facilities equipment and physical structure. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded problem solver with a strong mechanical aptitude and a dedication to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on facility equipment machinery and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair general mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise
- Respond promptly to daily maintenance requests and work orders
- Maintain accurate logs of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and equipment inspections
- Assist with facility upkeep, including minor carpentry, painting and structural repairs
- And here strictly to all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company protocols
- Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and workspace clean, organized, and in good working condition
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar mechanical hands on roll
- Solid understanding of general plumbing electrical systems, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to read blueprint schematics or equipment manuals is a plus
- A physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders as needed
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
