Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Self Storage Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our storage facility, including handling U-Haul rentals. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining the property, managing rentals, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding in-person customer service to storage and U-Haul customers
- Manage unit rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and delinquency processes
- Coordinate and process U-Haul rentals, returns, and equipment check-ins/outs
- Conduct equipment inspections and ensure proper documentation for U-Haul transactions
- Assist customers with rental questions, reservations, and equipment usage
- Handle phone inquiries, emails, and walk-in customers professionally
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
- Perform routine property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security
- Coordinate basic maintenance and report repair needs as necessary
- Enforce company policies, including payment, access, and rental procedures
- Monitor facility security, including gate access and surveillance systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, retail, or property management experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, rental management systems)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk the property regularly
- Ability to inspect vehicles and storage units
- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Compensation & Benefits:
