Position Summary:
The Cleanroom Supervisor leads cleanroom team members to produce high-quality products in a controlled, compliant, and efficient cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, cleanliness standards, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining productivity, safety, and team engagement. The Cleanroom Supervisor trains and develops team members, manages daily workflow, enforces contamination control practices, and proactively solves problems to support operational excellence while ensuring delivery of products that meet customer specifications and at desired delivery dates.
Primary Functions:
- Provides positive, hands-on leadership to cleanroom operators and technicians to meet production goals while maintaining cleanroom integrity and product quality
- Ensures all cleanroom policies, procedures, gowning requirements, and contamination control practices are always followed without exception
- Maintains compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, ISO, FDA, customer requirements) throughout cleanroom operations
- Collaborates with Quality Inspectors to ensure all products comply with customer quality standards.
- Manages workflow by assigning work, monitoring productivity, and coordinating with the Operations Director and cross-functional teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Ensures a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, including proper training on cleanroom behavior, safety practices, and equipment use
- Monitors and addresses deviations, nonconformances, and process issues; participates in root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
- Interviews, selects, and onboards cleanroom team members; conducts performance reviews and works with the Asst. Operations Manager- Single Use and HR on coaching, counseling, and discipline when necessary
- Develops team members through training, coaching, cross-training, regular feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Performs the job duties of cleanroom positions when needed to support production or staffing needs
- Champions safety, quality, cleanroom discipline, company culture, and ethical behavior
- Supports audits, inspections, and documentation related to cleanroom operations
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or associate degree preferred)
- Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a cleanroom or regulated setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working under GMP, ISO, FDA, or similar regulatory standards preferred
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
- Working safely in a cleanroom and manufacturing environment
- Extended periods of standing and walking
- Frequent gowning and de-gowning
- Some bending, stooping, and reaching
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Use of manufacturing tools, cleanroom equipment, and standard computer/office equipment
