General Summary
The Delivery Driver will be heavily involved in handling regular deliveries to our customers and stores. The delivery driver will work out of our Centralized Delivery Center (CDC) to deliver quality products and an amazing level of service to all customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• The Delivery Driver focus will be to work with the Centralized Delivery Center Manager and Assistant Manager to execute regular on-time delivery of product as needed to support our customers.
• The driver will be expected to deliver the ARH brand promise of helpful and amazing service at all times through professional conduct and a proactive approach to solving the problems of customers as they are spotted.
• The driver will handle or assist picking up or receiving, pulling, packing and loading products to be delivered.
• Recommend product stocking or special-order needs to the CDC management team.
• Observe and obey all traffic laws and operate safely and efficiently while operating any and all ARH equipment.
• Assist the Centralized Delivery Center Manager and/or Warehouse Coordinator with assembling grills and patio furniture sets as needed.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to safely operate vans, trucks, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50lbs) regularly, and lifting (up to 100lbs) occasionally with assistance.
Compensation Details
$16 - $18/hour
