A day in your life hereYou start your shift in a clean, organized shop where every modern tool you need is on hand. A CNC cell flags a spindle temperature alarm — you review controller diagnostics, reference the manual, and return the machine to production. Next up, you’ll perform a scheduled PM on a robotic workstation, then assist facilities with a quick HVAC filter swap. With predictable hours and the option for voluntary overtime, you wrap up the day documenting work, ordering parts for an upcoming install, and sharing insights with a collaborative, safety‑minded team.
What you’ll own- Execute general and preventive maintenance across CNC machinery, PLC‑controlled systems, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Troubleshoot issues using manuals, drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine root cause and repair path
- Disassemble, repair/replace components, reassemble, and validate performance; perform basic fabrication and assembly as needed
- Maintain facility systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical
- Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to sustain safe, reliable operations
- Support equipment moves and new installations; requisition parts, materials, and supplies
- Manage hazardous materials safely and follow lockout/tagout procedures at all times
- Two‑year technical degree with five years of related experience, or an equivalent blend of education and hands‑on work
- Fluency reading and interpreting technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications
- Diagnostic strength across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Solid math skills
