Provides technical assistance and administrative support for the
Engineering Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Takes
responsibility for part number creation and upkeep, including revision
control in ERP system (Epicor). Processes engineering change notices
(ECN), including initiation, distribution, closing and status updates.
Retrieves and verifies customer specification changes per set schedules.
Initiates change notices for customer quality alerts, print/spec
updates, or manufacturing plan changes. Administers engineering systems,
including Customer Prints, Manufacturing Sketches, CR1000/ECN and
Process Improvement. Manages control of internal and external
engineering documentation. Prepares and analyzes engineering reports;
audits engineering systems and functions. Conducts clerical updates as
directed, including data entry, error corrections, and report creation.
Creates or updates DWI\'s (Department Work Instructions) or PCS (Process
Control Sheets) as directed. Updates manufacturing comments or BOM (Bill
of Material) as directed. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and
conformity to Ace Precision Quality System Work Instruction requirements
that govern Engineering Assistant operations. Maintains or exceeds
production standards through organization and planning. Follows and
complies with safety rules, regulations, and work instructions.
Accurately completes all required documentation. Meets attendance policy
requirements. Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as
