Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques on various sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to meet project specifications.
- Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems, piping, and fixtures.
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members including carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians to complete integrated building projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as remodeling or maintenance person work.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and heavy lifting protocols.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics, and mechanical components is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations.
