Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly, providing outstanding customer service to enhance their experience
• Assist with event management, including scheduling, setup, coordination, and breakdown of pickleball tournaments and social events
• Enforce safety protocols by monitoring court usage, conducting safety briefings, and responding promptly to any incidents or conflicts
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems for memberships, event fees, retail sales, and food service purchases
• Manage retail sales of equipment, apparel, and accessories while maintaining inventory levels and visual displays
• Support outdoor work activities such as manual handling of equipment, heavy lifting of supplies or furniture, and outdoor court maintenance
• Address guest inquiries or concerns confidently through effective communication skills and conflict management techniques
• Follow all safety procedures diligently, including first aid response (CPR certified preferred), to ensure a safe environment for everyone
• Collaborate with team members to deliver hospitality services that exceed expectations in a lively sports setting

Experience

• Prior experience in events management or coordinating sports tournaments is highly desirable
• Background in customer service roles within hospitality, retail sales, or outdoor recreation environments
• Hands-on experience working with children or youth programs is a plus
• Familiarity with food service operations or resort settings enhances your ability to serve our diverse community
• Experience using POS systems for processing cash transactions accurately is preferred
• Lifeguard or CPR certification demonstrates your commitment to safety (certifications can be provided upon hire)
• Strong communication skills suitable for public speaking or guest interactions in lively settings
