Job Summary:
Are you creative! The Event Décor Set-up Specialist is responsible for the professional installation and removal of décor elements for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. This role ensures all décor is installed according to design plans while maintaining the highest level of care for rental inventory and client venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail and very organized
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients and venue staff
- Working under a Team Leader following their instructions
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Set-up of decor items such as pipe and drape, table settings, table and chair set-up, backdrops, flowers, etc.
- Laying out and assisting on installations and removals
- Following the correct procedures and process for each installation and removal
- Showing up on-time
- Following company policies
- Ensure all delivery and pickup records are complete and accurate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Consistently go above and beyond to deliver high-quality work
- Staging actual events
- Inventory/ warehouse management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work with instructions and guidance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must be able to safely perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, lifting, lowering, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items.
- Ability to work long hours if needed, seasonal overtime opportunities
- Ability to learn and retain the knowledge taught on every installation/ removal/ and loading procedure
- Comfortable working varying schedules which may include: early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills

- Combination of warehouse work and on-site event locations
- Fast-paced, physical role requiring flexibility and adaptability

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
