What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Ace Paper Tube?
Ace is currently looking for a Machine Operator from the hours of 5:30am – 2:00pm we offer two ten-minute breaks and a half hour lunch. The remainder of the time you must be able to stand and work. You must also have the ability to lift at least 40 lbs. over your shoulders.
Pay: $18- $20 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machinery used in the recutting process, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct quality inspections of materials and finished products to meet manufacturing standards.
- Handle packaging and materials efficiently, utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Assist in seaming operations when required, demonstrating versatility in manufacturing tasks.
- The ability to use a tape measure to a 16th of an inch
- Bander/ Tow Motor/ other tools
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing and machining processes
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques
- Experience in packaging and materials handling
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Understanding of manufacturing principles and warehouse operations
This position is classified as full-time, and your employment with Ace Paper Tube is considered at-will. This means that either you or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.
Additionally, your employment is contingent upon receiving a negative result from your drug screening and a clear background check. If either of these requirements is not met, Ace Paper Tube reserves the right to terminate employment immediately.
