Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and assist with product demos when needed.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash register balancing and reconciliation.
- Upsell relevant products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to promote featured items.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting regular stock checks.
Requirements
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions.
- Experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to engage customers professionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
