We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This is a mid-level role ideal for someone with administrative or customer service experience who is comfortable working with numbers and enjoys keeping things organized. No formal double-entry bookkeeping knowledge is required — we’ll train you!
This position is best suited for someone with at least 2 years of accounting experience who is intelligent, a fast learner, and eager to grow in a structured environment. A minimum commitment of 30 hours per week is required. Monday – Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send invoices to clients based on sales orders or service agreements
- Monitor and record incoming payments from active customers, ensuring timely posting and accurate allocation
- Maintain aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments and customers
- Prepare weekly receivables summaries for management review and assist in forecasting cash inflow
- Follow up with clients on overdue accounts via phone and email
- Maintain accurate logs of payment activity
- Assist with reconciling customer accounts
- Support the accounting team with general administrative tasks
- Prepare simple reports on receivables status
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues
