Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Specialist to support product research, customer feedback analysis, product performance tracking, release testing, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires strong analytical thinking, product sense, attention to detail, and the ability to convert customer insights and product data into meaningful improvement recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Conduct monthly research on competitor products, fintech trends, remittance market updates, and customer needs.
Prepare structured research reports with actionable insights and improvement opportunities. Identify product gaps, market opportunities, and emerging trends relevant to business growth.
Customer Feedback Analysis:
Analyse feedback from CX teams, App Store, Play Store, and social media channels. Identify recurring customer pain points, complaints, usability issues, and improvement areas. Prepare monthly feedback reports with prioritised themes and recommendations.
Product Ideas & Innovation:
Brainstorm and document new product ideas, feature improvements, and customer experience enhancements. Submit product ideas with business rationale, customer value, feasibility notes, and strategic alignment.
Maintain an idea log for monthly review
Product Analytics & Customer Behaviour
Review customer behaviour across key journeys such as onboarding, KYC, dashboard, receiver management, payment, and transfer flow. Identify friction points, drop-offs, rage taps, repeated actions, and usability issues. Recommend product optimisations based on analytics and customer behaviour insights.
Experimentation & A/B Testing
Support product experiments and A/B testing initiatives across key customer journeys. Document hypotheses, test results, learnings, customer pain points, and improvement ideas. Share recommendations based on experiment outcomes.
Release Testing & Validation
Test app and web releases across Pre-production, Staging, and Production environments. Validate key user journeys, functionality, edge cases, and product stability before release. Report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, severity, and expected behaviour. Support Go/No-Go release decisions through proper testing and sign-off.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Product, Design, IT, QA, CX, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing teams. Review product-related Jira tickets and ensure timely follow-ups. Track discussions, decisions, action items, and issue closures. Help ensure product issues are resolved efficiently with relevant teams.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of mobile apps, web products, fintech, digital payments, or remittance products.
Ability to analyse customer feedback and convert it into actionable insights.
Basic understanding of product analytics, funnels, drop-offs, and usability issues.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Good attention to detail during testing and validation.
Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage follow-ups.
Preferred Skills
Experience in fintech, remittance, banking, payments, or digital products.
Experience with analytics tools such as UXCam, Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
Understanding of app store reviews, customer support feedback, and social media feedback analysis. Basic knowledge of A/B testing, product experimentation, and usability testing.
Experience in preparing product reports, competitor analysis, or customer insight reports.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Computer Science, IT, Marketing or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, Customer Experience, QA, Fintech, Digital Banking, Remittance, or related roles.
