Housekeeper/ House Organizer and Mothers helper

HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT / MOTHER’S HELPER WANTED

We are looking for a kind, reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking person to become a long-term part of our busy household. We are a very active family with four children, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping a home run smoothly and takes pride in the little details.

This is more than a housekeeping position. We are looking for someone who enjoys organizing, staying busy, noticing what needs to be done, and taking initiative without needing to be asked.

Regular schedule:Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & FridayApproximately 8:30/8:45 AM – 1:00 PM

Some of the things we would love help with include:

• Laundry from start to finish—washing, folding, hanging and putting everything away
• Making beds and keeping bedrooms tidy
• Keeping closets, drawers and household areas organized
• Keeping countertops and surfaces wiped down and the home picked up
• Light vacuuming and everyday tidying
• Putting groceries away and keeping the kitchen organized
• Washing and cutting up fruits and vegetables
• Helping with dinner prep by chopping, preparing ingredients, etc.
• Putting away flowers and keeping the home looking fresh
• Occasional household errands
• Helping with organizational projects throughout the house
• Helping with whatever little things come up during a busy week

We do have a housekeeper who comes on Tuesdays and handles the sheets and all of the floors, so this position is really about maintaining the home throughout the week, laundry, organization, meal prep, errands and helping keep everything running smoothly.

Ideally, we would also love to find someone who is flexible for occasional additional help, including one date night a week and helping with the children when we travel. When we are away, this may involve working alongside my mom to help with the kids and keep things running smoothly while we are gone.

The most important thing to us is finding someone who is dependable, trustworthy, takes pride in their work, has a great attitude and wants a long-term position. We want someone who sees something that needs to be done and simply takes care of it. Someone who doesn’t mind going the extra mile and understands that the little things make a big difference in a busy home.
