Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubuque, IA, for a Concrete Pump Operator. The Concrete Pump Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining concrete pump equipment, ensuring smooth and safe material placement on construction sites. Daily tasks include setting up equipment, maneuvering pumps in tight spaces, handling hoses and pipe, performing routine inspections and maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols. The role requires collaboration with site personnel and the ability to troubleshoot on the job.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating concrete pumps and related machinery
- Experience with handling and connecting pipe and hoses safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of concrete placement techniques and processes
- Ability to conduct regular equipment inspection and basic maintenance
- Willingness to undergo training on safety protocols, equipment operation, and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and efficiency
- Physical ability to perform duties in an outdoor construction environment
- Valid CDL license required.
