Dispatcher – Transportation Operations
Ace Limousine & Airport Service is looking for a full-time Dispatcher to join our operations team in Chester, PA.
This is an in-office position. Previous dispatch or transportation experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor daily transportation operations
- Communicate with chauffeurs throughout their shifts
- Assign and adjust trips as needed
- Monitor vehicle locations and schedules
- Review reservations for accuracy
- Help resolve last-minute changes or service issues
- Communicate with customers and internal team members
- Keep accurate notes and records
- Help the operations team wherever needed
Chauffeur Training
We believe our dispatchers are better at their jobs when they understand the business from the chauffeur’s perspective.
The person hired for this position will spend approximately their first four weeks working and training as a chauffeur before transitioning into the dispatch office.
This gives you firsthand experience with our vehicles, customers, chauffeurs, airports, trip procedures, and day-to-day operation.
Because of the chauffeur training portion of the role, candidates must:
- Be at least 25 years old due to company insurance requirements
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a clean driving record
- Pass a background check
- Be comfortable driving company vehicles
