Residential Electrician Duties:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on residential electrical systems.
- Inspect wiring, panels, devices, and grounding to identify hazards and code violations.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, fixtures, and electrical components using standard tools and methods.
- Plan and interpret layouts for wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specs and local electrical codes.
- Replace outdated or unsafe wiring systems and upgrade circuits to meet modern electrical demands.
Residential Electrician Requirements:
- Journeyman's or residential license REQUIRED
- Progressive electrical experience
- Experience in residential repair and install
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to handle physical workload
