This role offers the stability of a W-2 position with a highly respected brand, allowing you to focus on what you do best: delivering high-quality remodels, repairs, and refreshes for homeowners who value your expertise.

As a Handyman Craftsman, you will serve as the face of our business in the Lake Orion community. You will handle a variety of small to medium-sized residential and commercial projects, from bathroom and kitchen refreshes to trim carpentry and custom repairs. We manage the scheduling, marketing, and back-office administration so you can focus entirely on top-tier craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success is measured by the quality of your work, your efficiency, and the relationships you build with clients. Here is what you can expect:

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform light plumbing and electrical work, tile installations, and interior/exterior carpentry/

• Complete spackle, drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, and custom home repairs.

• Review project scopes with homeowners, confidently explain your process, and provide accurate job quotes on-site when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring you leave the customer's home cleaner than you found it.

Long-Term Success

• Consistently achieve high customer satisfaction ratings and build trust within the local community.

• Work efficiently to complete projects safely, on time, and within scope.

• Take advantage of clear career progression paths to move into Lead Craftsman or Master Craftsman roles.

What You Need to Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in trades such as carpentry, tile setting, spackling, painting, or residential remodeling.

• A comprehensive set of your own hand and power tools fit for residential remodeling work.

• A clean, reliable vehicle suitable for transporting your tools to job sites.

• A valid driver's license and active auto insurance.

• Strong professional punctuality and a neat, respectful appearance.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification, or a willingness to obtain it (we will support you in getting certified).

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour, plus opportunities for performance-based bonuses and overtime.
