Ace Handyman Services, a locally-owned member of the Ace Hardware family; is seeking a Multi-Skilled Craftsman.
 
 NO Nights or Weekends

 

8-4 schedule as a W-2 employee with biweekly pay and benefits.  
 
 Seeking creative, problem solvers with excellent craftsman skills and great customer service skills. We love people who have a can-do approach to their day.

 

Your days will be unique, and you will do a variety of work.

 

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Craftsman with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades - from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical. With a set of tools to support your craft and a suitable vehicle (truck or van).

Craftsman I: Skilled in various small trades. $25/hr                                                                               

·         Pressure Washing

·         Painting

·         Dryer Vent Cleaning

·         Drywall Repairs

·         Caulking

·         Light Landscaping

·         Replace Faucets

·         Replace Garbage Disposals

·         Hang Pictures/Mirrors/Art

Craftsman II: Skilled in various small trades. Can carry and use extension ladder. Has plumbing or electrical knowledge. $27/hr                                                                  

·         Light Plumbing

·         Finish Carpentry

·         Light Electrical

·         Install Flooring

·         Deck Repair

·         Paint/Stain Refinishing

·         Hang/Tape/Finish Drywall

·         Replace/Install Fencing

·         Gutter Cleaning

·         Hang Holiday Lights

·         Roof Work/Replace Shingles & Boots

Craftsman III: Skilled in various small trades. Has plumbing or electrical skills. Can troubleshoot in the field. $30/hr

 

·         Plumbing Skills including Cartridge Replacement

·         Electrical Skills including Ceiling Fan/Light New Wiring

·         Can Handle multi-day projects like Painting & Flooring Installs

·         Can Handle Tile Backsplash Installs

·         Can Measure for and Install Doors and Window

·         Deck Repairs, Upgrades, and Builds

·         Has verifiable portfolio and references 

 

Craftsman IV: Skilled in all the above and has more extensive plumbing or electrical skills. Can troubleshoot in the field. Will assist with oversight and training of other team members. $35/hr

 

·         Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills

·         Full Plumbing Knowledge & Tools

·         Full Electrical Knowledge & Tools

·         Can Measure for and Install Doors & Windows

·         Can Estimate, Design, and Build Decks

·         Can Handle multi-day projects like Upgrading Bathrooms & Kitchens

·         Can Handle Tile Backsplash Installs or Tile Flooring

·         Has verifiable portfolio and references

 

 

·         Experience in trades, specifically carpentry / construction / remodeling

·         Skills required to perform a variety of home repair and improvement tasks

·         Own an extensive set of tools to support your craft

·         Take pride in the quality of your work

·         Friendly, positive, customer-focused attitude

·         Strong communication skills

·         Proficient with technology (tablet application software – ServiceTitan)

·         Ability and willingness to follow processes

·         Have suitable vehicle (truck or van)
  

Additional qualifications for the role include:

  

·         Current and valid driver’s license

·         Analytical and problem-solving skills 

·         Basic math skills

·         Passing a background check and drug screening
