Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and patching as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
- Match paint colors
- Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers effectively
- Protect surrounding areas using drop cloths and tape
- Clean tools and work area upon completion of job
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and to company standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Familiarity with a variety of painting tools and techniques
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Have reliable transportation that can haul ladders and materials, current auto insurance, and a valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must pass a background check
Physical Demands
- Occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Climbing stairs and ladders using proper safety measures.
- Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing for lengthy periods of time.
