What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce QC position at ACE-ENDICO CORP?
Produce Quality Control Associate (Warehouse) – Full-Time
Location: Brewster, NY
Pay: $18 - 22/hour
What You'll Do
- Inspect inbound produce for quality, temperature, and packaging compliance
- Conduct routine quality checks and audits on in-stock produce
- Document findings and input data into internal tracking systems or WMS
- Identify and flag spoiled or aging items for removal or repack
- Ensure FIFO rotation and monitor cold storage conditions
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 year of produce handling or quality inspection experience preferred
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, FIFO, or other food safety standards a plus
- Comfortable working in cold storage and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math skills and ability to read/write in English
- Prior warehouse experience and WMS knowledge is helpful
