Position is for Quality Manager at Ace Air Manufacturing, a small precision machine shop that services the Aerospace industry. Located in Gardena, California, we are looking for an applicant with some Machine Shop background. The applicant will plan, coordinate, and direct the quality control program to ensure quality of all products manufactured is consistent and defect free.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 is required.
Have an understanding of quality control procedures and relevant standards
Be detail oriented and capable of multitasking.
Have experience with Microsoft Office and be willing to learn other software as needed for the quality system.
Knowledge of Practical Inspection techniques, preferred but not required
Working knowledge of a CMM, helpful but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (but not limit to):
Manage the Quality Department
Maintain the AS9100 Quality System
Develop and submit First Article Reports per AS9102 Requirements, as required
Maintain, generate and provide Customers with Quality Data Packages
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and peers, as required
Inspect final product and compare to customer requirements
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and purchase orders
Ensure adherence to quality standards for all products produced
Design training programs as needed
Be able to identify opportunities for improvement and develop procedures accordingly
Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
