Job Requirements
- Responsible for supporting and participating in the Ace Aeronautics QMS
- Responsible for installing, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems and subsystems at a FAA Part 145 Repair Station
- Read and interpret drawings to install/modify aircraft systems and subsystems on developmental/prototype aircraft
- Provides feedback to engineering and logistics personnel to produce installation documents
- Responsible for ensuring company-owned demonstrator aircraft is maintained in a state of airworthiness IAW FAA-approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, including performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, sourcing and acquiring repair parts and special tooling, scheduling maintenance events around need dates for aircraft flight requirements
- Install and modify aircraft systems and subsystems IAW installation drawings and industry standards / best practices
- Operate and maintain company-owned and customer rotorcraft as required IAW approved data.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the bench stock and tool room as needed
- Travel as required to support company programs and customer requirements
- All other tasks as assigned
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess (or eligible to attain) FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certification
- Experience with General Aviation and Military Rotorcraft required
- Experience with UH-60 / S-70 highly desired
- At least 15 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years of this experience in accordance with approved FAA standards and specifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
- Experience in the development of FAA Supplemental Type Certificates or US Army Modification Work Orders is required
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, with advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner with efficiency and accuracy
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
