Our Scarsdale-based preschool, ACDS Scarsdale, is seeking an enthusiastic, caring Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3 to 5 in our special education classrooms.

- Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM (31.25 hours/week)

What You’ll Do
- Support classroom teachers with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, diapering, and play-based instruction
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individualized educational goals
- Promote communication, independence, and developmental growth in young learners
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Prior experience working with children required; experience with children with disabilities highly valued
- Preferred Skills: ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience is a plus
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Other Requirements: At least 1 year of childcare or classroom experience; a true passion for working with young children with special needs
