At ACDS Pelham, we believe that every small step can lead to big achievements. Our preschool program serves children ages 3–5 with developmental delays and disabilities, blending early childhood education with essential therapeutic supports — including occupational, speech, and physical therapy — all within a nurturing, collaborative setting.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT), licensed in New York State, to join our experienced multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, onsite position (no travel required), offering the opportunity to truly impact children’s growth and independence while working alongside passionate professionals.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

As an Occupational Therapist at ACDS Pelham, you’ll work hands-on with preschoolers across a range of developmental profiles, using evidence-based strategies to support progress in key skill areas such as:

• Fine and gross motor development
• Visual-perceptual and visual-motor integration
• Self-care and independence in daily routines

You’ll design and implement individualized treatment plans, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate closely with teachers, speech and physical therapists, psychologists, and families. Your expertise will help each child build confidence, capability, and joy in their everyday achievements.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide OT services consistent with each child’s IEP
• Develop, adapt, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation (session notes, progress reports, annual reviews)
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and families
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews
• Uphold professional, ethical, and state regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

• Current NYS Occupational Therapist license
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• NPI registration
• Pediatric experience preferred — strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply!
