Position Overview
The Associate Engineer plays a key role in supporting aviation customers by providing drafting, documentation, design, and project support. This role interfaces directly with Project/Liaison Engineers, assists on customer projects, and contributes to AOG responsiveness. Strong communication, CAD proficiency, and a passion for aviation engineering are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and manage technical documentation and engineering deliverables.
- Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) projects through coordination, communication, and timely follow-through.
- Experience with FAA regulations and codes
- Experience with effectively communicating with Customer
- Assist Project/Liaison Engineers with engineering tasks and customer support needs.
- Perform drafting and design using FUSION, AutoCAD, and/or SOLIDWORKS.
- Review and interpret aircraft technical publications, including AMM, IPC, SRM, and CMM documents.
- Travel as needed to provide on-site customer support.
- Adapt to evolving project requirements; responsibilities may adjust based on customer needs.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- experience with FUSION, AutoCAD, and/or SOLIDWORKS or other CAD modeling and mechanical design.
- Preferred: 3 years in an aviation technical role supporting Part 121 airlines or Part 145 repair stations.
- Ability to effectively navigate and research aircraft technical publications.
