Job Summary:
The Vendor Manager is responsible for growing Accuserve’s network of vendors (“contractors”) to fulfill work on behalf of its clients. Vendor Managers are responsible for becoming experts on Accuserve service offerings and the value they bring to both our clients and our contractors. The Vendor Manager will require an expert level understanding of our clients’ service territories and our network of contractors within that territory. The daily job duties will involve heavy outbound communication, tracking and reporting of contractor signup activity as well as contractor performance to ensure company goals are met. Periodically the position will require travel to visit contractors and to trade shows to represent Accuserve and promote the company and its contractor network.
General Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
- Monitor closely the network participants’ performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Report to Management the weekly and monthly network performance statistics and recommended changes on a scheduled basis.
- Provide verbal and written feedback as needed to network participants based on their performance metrics.
- Report on gaps and opportunities as well as adjustments made on a weekly cyclical basis to show results.
- Report to Territory on a (monthly/quarterly) basis the territory results and any important updates that should be reiterated.
- Respond to inquiries regarding assignment activity, procedures, processes, etc.
- Utilize performance data to rank and monitor network participants and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to root-cause problem solve in order to identify contractor opportunities and develop corrective action plans.
- Assist with resolution of disputes that arise between the insured, the insurance company and the contractor; maintaining relationships with all.
- Conduct program training and onboarding for contractor vendors as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date, expert-level knowledge of Accuserve’s processes, functions, and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately and effectively support vendors by applying deep understanding of Accuserve operations.
- Proactively engage in ongoing learning and collaboration to stay aligned with organizational updates and best practices.
Administration Activities
- Maintain tracking of signup activities as well as network adjustments as part of the larger network expansion plan.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to strategize how to meet network growth and performance goals.
- Update marketing templates periodically for distribution to assist in signup goals and educational campaigns.
- Update and maintain network participant account information in company software systems.
- Other duties as assigned
Sales Activities
- Identify strong candidates for the Accuserve network and use email and telephone to enroll qualified contractor candidates into Accuserve’s network.
- Daily outbound telephone-based network sign-up campaigns.
- Effectively communicate and educate contractor candidates on the Accuserve model and its benefits over the phone, via video calls and in person at site visits and trade shows.
- Use strong negotiating and leadership abilities to help drive the Accuserve business model on a daily basis.
- Assists with locating contractors for participation in the Accuserve network
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience required, four-year degree or higher education level preferred
- Previous experience in either a sales or vendor management role requiring outbound or external sales activities and negotiation required
- Strong computer experience required, including programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook and internet search engines)
- Substantial experience prioritizing work and organizing multiple tasks per day
- Communication Skills required the ability to draft professional outbound written communications that meet company messaging standards and the ability to articulate (verbally and in writing) the company’s value proposition for both clients and network participants
- Experience handling dispute resolution based on company values and business goals
- Track record of meeting performance goals and deadlines
- Adhere to company messaging consistently and in public settings
- Ability to build rapport, exude a positive brand image, and influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Prior negotiating experience a plus
- Strong Excel usage and report creation experience a plus
- Experience in a prior sales role desired
- Prior experience managing a large sales territory
- Demonstrated success in a sales campaign over a sustained period
- Travel may be required
- Other: This position may require you to operate a motor vehicle in the performance of your duties. The Company will conduct a Motor Vehicle Report check upon hire and will monitor the driving record of associates who operate Company service vehicles, client vehicles, and who may drive their own vehicles in the course of Company business
- Must be flexible and adapt to most any situation
- Ability to utilize technology devices, software and application, previous experience with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills required
- Reliable high speed home broadband internet connection with minimum 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds and ability to connect to home internet via ethernet cord is required if working remotely

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
