Role Description
This is a part-time on-site position eith office location in Oviedo, FL, for a Field Technician - Traffic Data Collection. The Field Technician will install, maintain, and remove traffic data collection equipment on roadways and intersections. Responsibilities include conducting detailed fieldwork under various weather conditions, troubleshooting equipment, recording data accurately, and ensuring proper transportation and storage of equipment. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and collaboration with the technical team to deliver reliable traffic data.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Fieldwork experience, including data collection and accurate record-keeping
- Ability to perform physical tasks under varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with transportation-related data collection processes is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an advantage
