Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Feeder to join our client in Pompano Beach, FL! This individual will be responsible for rotating between various departments, primarily supporting the bulk area and soil area. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $16/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 6 am - 2:30 pm | Monday - Friday
- Located in Pompano Beach, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Feed restaurant textiles (such as table napkins) into industrial steaming and ironing machines
- Receive clean textiles from the machines, fold them, and wrap them securely for shipping
- Receive, weigh, and sort incoming dirty restaurant linens and uniforms
- Rotate between multiple positions throughout the shift, including the bulk machine, iron machine, and supporting the washer/dryer bin areas
- Participate in daily safety orientations, weekly read-and-sign safety updates, and monthly OSHA refreshers
- Strictly adhere to all safety and product handling guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications
- No prior experience is required; department-specific training will be provided on the job
- Highly physical role requiring lifting for 70–90% of the shift
- Steel-toed boots are required, particularly for the washer/dryer areas. Or non-slip shoes in the machine feeder area
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs independently (mechanical hoists and team lifts are utilized for items 50 lbs )
- Frequent standing (anti-fatigue mats provided), bending, twisting, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks
- The facility is a clean and organized industrial laundry, but it is not climate-controlled, meaning workers may be exposed to heat and cold stress depending on the weather. A Heat Illness Prevention Program is actively enforced
