Role Description
The CNC Flame Cut Operator is a full-time SECOND shift, on-site role based in Milwaukee, WI. The primary responsibilities include operating CNC flame cutting machines to produce steel plate products to specifications. Daily tasks involve machine setup, equipment calibration, ensuring product quality through inspections, and performing routine maintenance as needed. The role also requires strict adherence to safety standards and collaboration with the production team to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in machine operation, including CNC machinery/CNC flame cut
- Skills in quality control to inspect and ensure product specification compliance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or less
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Overhead crane operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or steel industry environment is a plus
