About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in residential HVAC system maintenance, repair, and installation.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Section 608 Certification for handling refrigerants.
- Additional certifications in specialized HVAC systems such as heat pumps or geothermal units.
- Experience with energy-efficient HVAC technologies and smart home integration.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues, including heating units, air conditioners, ventilation systems, and related components.
- Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Provide clear explanations to customers regarding system conditions, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
