What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer/Office Assistant position at Accurate Measures, LLC?
Hands-on designer to help clients select materials, textures, and colors to create kitchen, bath and other cabinets. The designer must consider the intended purposes of each cabinet job, along with clients' style preferences, when choosing cabinet materials. To be successful you must be a multitasker with the personality to provide outstanding customer service over the phone or in person.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with homeowners or contractors to determine needs, preferences, and budgets. Ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space and suggest appropriate materials and finishes.
- Anticipate and inform clients of additional features that may be useful to them.
- Inform clients about appropriate care for their kitchens.
- Answer phones, handle emails, schedule appointments, and promptly take and relay messages.
- Accurate recordkeeping, some billing responsibilities, and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of construction methods, and basic building processes.
- Material Selection: Ability to learn and advise on wood species, hardware and finishes that align with the design vision.
- Top-notch communication and customer service skills. Active listening skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn our computer software, flexibility to back up office in other areas, Microsoft Office knowledge and experience updating social media platforms is helpful.
Salary : $800 - $1,000
