Job Description
We are seeking skilled and dependable Robot Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions, maintain high quality standards. MIG welding experience would be a plus. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and a strong commitment to safety and Quality. We are currently seeking experienced Operators and entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic who are willing to learn and grow with our team.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate robotic welding machines according to work instructions and production requirements
- Utilize fixtures and tooling to properly assemble and gauge parts during the welding process
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Set up welding equipment and ensure proper machine settings
- Inspect finished part welds and dimensions to ensure they meet quality standards
- Use grinders and other tools to prepare and finish parts
- Load and unload material manually or with hoists or cranes, depending on weight and size.
- Use of material handling equipment such as powered gantry, overhead crane and forklift is desired but not required and can be taught
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, welding, or robotic welding experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read / interpret blueprints and follow work instructions
- Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, height gage, square, protractor, tape measure) to verify parts meet specified standards.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and fixtures
- Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, and basic shop equipment for preparing and finishing parts
- Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Schedule
- 1st / 2nd shifts – 4/10-hour shifts M-T
- Weekend shift – 3/12 hour shifts F-S
- Overtime available for all shifts
