The Interpreter will facilitate effective communication by converting spoken or signed messages accurately and efficiently between languages. Qualifications
- Advanced fluency in English and at least one other language or dialect
- Strong interpretation, active listening, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in cultural competence to navigate diverse interpersonal contexts effectively
- Professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Familiarity with specialized terminology in fields such as legal, medical, or technical interpretation is an asset
- Certification in interpretation or relevant linguistic certifications are preferred but not required
- Experience in on-site interpretation or related fields is an advantage
