We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician A (Senior Mechanic) with 10–15 years of experience to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled technician capable of performing advanced diagnostics and heavy line repairs. We specialize in Japanese vehicles, but also service American makes.
Compensation for this role starts at $40/hour, but is negotiable depending upon experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of vehicles
- Complete heavy line repairs (engines, major components)
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet shop productivity goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- 10–15 years of automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform heavy line work independently
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Must have your own tools
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certification (a plus)
- Experience with Japanese vehicles (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc.)
- Familiarity with American vehicle repairs
