Job description:
Do you have construction and supervisory experience and are looking for a company to call home for the long term? Accurate-Airtight Exteriors is looking for a Team Lead to join our crew. We are small, but very mighty! We work year-round in both existing and new construction buildings. We are very busy and looking for you to be part of our growing team! Not only are you helping people save money and be more comfortable but also helping the environment through reduced energy use. Employees are paid weekly at a competitive rate based on prior experience, plus paid lunch breaks!
Job duties will include:
- Manage day-to-day activities of the team while on the job site
- Motivate the team to achieve organizational goals
- Serve as a mentor and role model for new team members by personifying company policies and standards
- Delegate tasks to team members
- Conduct training of team members to maximize their potential.
- Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
- Contribute to the growth of the company through a successful team
- Create a pleasant working environment that inspires the team
- Ensure that trucks are loaded/unloaded with appropriate materials in a timely manner
- Ensure the accurate capturing of materials used per day and track/report for job costing (record on individual TSheets notes to be communicated back to the Production Manager).
- Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- We offer on-the-job training and require a 3 month probationary training period before moving into the Team Lead position permanently.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Air sealing and caulking
- Install insulation
- Installation of weather-stripping
- Venting and installing ventilation equipment
- Regular use of saws and other construction tools
- Willingness to learn, grow and work as a positive contributing team member.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Return phone calls, texts, and emails in a timely matter.
- Give daily updates to either the Project Manager in the North or the Project Manager in the South (Depending on the project locale)
- Obtain & maintain necessary licensure to be provided by Accurate-Airtight Exteriors
- Other duties within a reasonable scope as required and mandated by management

- Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
- Willing and able to work in small spaces a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills

We schedule a 35 - 45-hour work week, depending on season. We also offer 6 Paid Holidays every year!
