Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic Engineering Operations Manager to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center under the FEDIS II contract. This role combines technical leadership, operational management, and client collaboration to ensure all engineering activities are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, and Architecture).
- Oversee planning, design, and execution for facilities, infrastructure, and construction support projects.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, contract requirements, and quality procedures.
- Partner with the Program Manager to align deliverables with project goals and client expectations.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Represent the engineering team in meetings with NASA and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Architecture (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical).
- PE License or Registered Architect highly preferred.
- 8–10 years of engineering experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong understanding of engineering design, construction processes, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project controls tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
