We’re a family-owned medical billing company with a close-knit team, low turnover, and lots of perks—and we’re growing! We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Medical Biller/Coder to join our billing family.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full billing cycle, values accuracy, and appreciates a supportive, flexible work environment. At least 2 years of medical billing experience is required. Experience with Medisoft, Medent, or ModMed is a big plus.
This position offers work-from-home after a mandatory 90-day probation period, with on-site workstations available if preferred.

What You’ll Do
- Review and interpret charge entries to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT codes, and modifiers
- Ensure accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services in compliance with current guidelines
- Prepare, submit, and track claims through EMR/EHR systems
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and communicate with insurance carriers
- Work denials and write appeals as necessary
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately
- Review, generate, and send patient statements
- Maintain detailed, organized records to support billing and compliance
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical terminology
- Experience with Medent, ModMed, or Medisoft (preferred)
- Solid understanding of insurance billing, collections, and claim submissions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear, professional communication skills
