Position Summary
The Basement Waterproofing Crew Lead is responsible for supervising a small crew, ensuring quality installation of waterproofing systems, managing job-site workflow, maintaining safety standards, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a crew in the installation of basement and crawl space waterproofing systems
- Read job plans, allocate tasks, and ensure proper installation practices
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely
- Maintain job-site safety and cleanliness
- Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns
- Train crew members and ensure productivity goals are met
- Complete job documentation and ensure accurate material usage
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites (company vehicle provided)
Qualifications
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Background in waterproofing, construction, concrete, or related trades is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in confined spaces or varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused
