Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Controller to join our team. In this full-time role, you will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will also manage HR responsibilities such as onboarding and employee administration. This position includes one direct report and provides the opportunity to lead key operational initiatives, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Manage payroll processing and related HR administrative tasks
- Handle HR responsibilities such as employee onboarding
- Supervise and mentor one direct report
- Support budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning
- Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational processes
- Responsible for ensuring timely month-end closure, accurate reporting, and maintaining budget adherence.
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles
- Experience with ERP systems (any ERP experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- CPA certification not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
