What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Support position at AccuForce?
Company located in the Glen Alpine area seeks Associates to properly inspect and package vinyl profiles to established standards. Also, responsible to band and seal racks of finished goods inventory, and deliver them to the warehouse area.
NOTE: This company rotates from day shifts to night shifts monthly. One month you will work days, and the next you will work nights. This schedule must work for you to be considered.
Key details:
- Pay: $18.00 an hour
- Hours: Night shift, 7pm-7am on rotation, Day shift, 7am-7pm rotation
- Benefits immediately when brought on as permanent staff
- Previous Manufacturing experience
- Solid work history required with no gaps in employment
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience with one Company
Primary duties:
- Safely operate fork truck
- Set up empty racks on rack dollies
- Visually inspect profiles for gross defects and general appearance.
- Package profiles neatly and properly, either in racks, bundles, or boxes.
- Dispose of scrap profile in designated racks (evenly stacked, properly segregated)
- Maintain adequate housekeeping of his or her work area.
- Line empty racks with plastic
- Watch profiles for dimensions and surface defects
- Properly band and seal full racks of material
- Transfer all racks (including those with bundles) to the Warehouse area.
- Remove and replace on-line scrap racks, and transfer those racks to the Scrap area in Warehouse.
- Perform daily safety and mechanical inspection of the fork truck.
