What You'll Do
As our Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll play a vital role in coordinating domestic and international shipping and receiving activities while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our warehouse operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).
- Verify pick tickets and staged materials before shipment.
- Organize shipping paperwork and ensure orders are processed accurately in IQMS.
- Obtain freight quotes and coordinate transportation as needed.
- Process purchase orders related to shipping and logistics.
- Coordinate both domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with USMCA, NAFTA, and customer-specific shipping documentation requirements.
- Review incoming receiving paperwork for accuracy.
- Receive inventory into the ERP system and properly label incoming materials.
- Provide Quality with required documentation for incoming inspections.
- Maintain accurate warehouse, staging, and inventory location records.
- Coordinate shipping requests from internal departments.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal team members via email and phone.
- Support continuous improvement and maintain compliance with company quality standards and ISO procedures.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience (manufacturing experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to learn and navigate ERP systems (IQMS experience preferred).
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Team-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Plastic injection molding or manufacturing environment.
- ERP software experience, preferably IQMS.
- International shipping and logistics documentation.
- Forklift experience (training and certification provided by Accudyn).
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular activity throughout the warehouse and shipping areas, including:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequently bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Safely lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands for handling products and documentation.
- Visual attention to detail for shipping verification and inventory accuracy.
