Electrical/Controls Test Technician
We are seeking a Electrical/Controls Test Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for interfacing between engineering and the controls panel shop to ensure our control systems are built, tested and on time.
This is a great position for a young engineer to learn about the manufacturing environment, and there is room for advancement for a successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the controls panel shop
Print all panel marking labels for wire, components and terminal blocks
Help technicians build panels by answering their questions
Coordinate production, testing and QC functions
Test and QC panels as needed
Coordinate with inventory and production planning personnel to ensure all components are accounted for
Qualifications:
Engineering or associates technical degree required, Electrical engineering degree preferred
1-2 minimum years experience in building control systems, or similar systems
Ability to read electrical schematics, panel layouts, interconnection diagrams
Experience for AutoCAD Electrical a big plus
Excellent computer skills including MS Office; familiarity with MRP/ERP a big plus
Use of tools to layout and build panels like tape measure, drills and other hand tools
Deadline and detail-oriented, can adjust to fast paced environment
Ability to work and communicate with people
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
