Directional Drill Operator/Locator, Excavator Operator, and Laborer

Accucom Group, LLC is a utility construction company specializing in directional drilling and operating primarily in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

Position 1: DRILL OPERATOR/LOCATOR

Qualification requirements include but are not limited to:

• Proficiency with directional drill or locating equipment.
• Two years’ experience digging safely around existing utilities.

Position 2: EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Qualification requirements include but are not limited to:

• Proficiency with excavator.

Position 3: LABORER

Qualification requirements include but are not limited to:

• Assist hydrovac operator.
• Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment, materials, and supplies needed for daily work.
• Must assist leadership (Foreman and or Supervisor) with all duties.
• Must be able to operate tamps, jackhammers, core drills, concrete saws, and other miscellaneous equipment safely.
• Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to expose located utilities, access underground vaults and pedestals, and complete trenches.
• Place conduit and/or cables in trenches, splice conduits sections (install couplers) as directed, place anchors, pedestal, vaults, etc. to complete construction tasks.
• Fully restore worksite at completion of work, refill trenches and holes, tamp soil, place temporary asphalt on streets where excavations have been performed.
• All laborer applicants must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and must be 18 years old.

• Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the company’s operational needs.
• Pay is commensurate with experience.
• Must submit to criminal background check.
• Subject to a 90-day probation period.
• Must be capable of working in all temperatures and climates.
• A variety of tasks require the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Travel may be required occasionally. Per diem paid for all travel in addition to regular pay.
