What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing / Inventory Control position at Accu1Direct Inc?
Privately held manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a financial manager to handle various tasks. This is a full time salaried position with regular hours (M-F) from 8:00 to 4:30.
This position will be responsible to monitor and maintain necessary inventory levels for production by:
- Creating daily purchase orders to our existing vendors.
- Sourcing new vendors as necessary and negotiating volume discounts.
- Reconciling purchase orders to vendor invoices.
- Approving invoices for payment.
- Maintain purchase function in Quickbooks.
- Maintain inventory pricing in Quickbooks.
- Implement and maintain new inventory control software.
Desired Qualifications
- Two to four years of related purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in direct source material acquisition.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sense of urgency.
