Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Horizontal Programmer located in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves creating precise CNC programs for horizontal milling machines and reviewing technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation. The CNC Horizontal Programmer work with set up, operate, and optimize machining processes, as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Collaborating with other team members in the next step of process to ensure efficiency and quality is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC Programming and Programming for horizontal milling machines
- Expertise in Machining and Milling operations
- Strong skills in interpreting and analyzing Technical Drawings
- Ability to resolve issues in machining processes
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Experience working in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in machining
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
