Quality Inspector/Trainer

• 1st & 2nd shift

• Duties- Training new operators, Periodic inspection of all parts running during the shift and record data on proper paperwork. This includes inspection of all features checked by the operator and features requiring more complex inspection methods in the quality lab using various equipment. For example Micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, test indicators, bore gauges, thread gauges, gauge pins, gauge blocks, surface profile gauge, comparator and CMM. Package or stack parts as they are completed in boxes or on pallets. Final inspection of product before shipping to customer. Tag and isolate non conforming product. Sorting of non conforming product or operating machines may be required during times of high demand.
• 1 year Quality inspection in a production environment preferred
• Basic ability to interpret blue prints preferred
• ability to read micrometers and indicators digital and non digital required.
• Basic math skills required.
