We are looking for a Staff Product Engineer to set the technical direction for a new generation of AI-native developer products. This role operates at the organizational level, owning architecture, solving complex product and engineering problems, and leading 0-to-1 initiatives that will shape the company’s next phase of growth.
You will serve as one of the organization’s key technical authorities and a force multiplier across the engineering team. You’ll raise technical standards, mentor senior engineers, and remain deeply hands-on while owning production outcomes. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who combines strong product judgment with exceptional technical leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive the architecture for new products that do not yet exist in the market, helping define the next generation of AI-native developer tooling.
- Translate business and product strategy into long-term technical roadmaps and executable plans.
- Lead products from initial concept through design, development, launch, and scale.
- Take accountability for production outcomes, including reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards across the organization.
- Lead through influence, aligning engineers, product leaders, and executives

- A track record of building products customers love and leading the technical direction of products from an early stage through meaningful scale and industry recognition.
- Deep experience architecting and delivering complex, customer-facing software products.
- Strong product instincts and the ability to balance speed, technical quality, usability, and long-term platform considerations.
- Experience driving 0-to-1 product development in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- A history of shaping technical direction and leading through influence while operating as an individual contributor.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and improving engineering practices across a team or organization.
- Strong ownership of reliability, performance, scalability, and production
- operations.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to engineers, leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Extensive experience using coding agents and AI-assisted development tools. You should be comfortable operating at the forefront of agentic software development and helping the team expand how these tools are used across the engineering workflow.
